Biografia:
It all started as a joke. Somewhere around 2005, Janito, Zé and Pecego decided to form their own Air band. Despite the fact that the only band member with a decent musical education was Pecego, the band still got a taste of success for their extravagant shows. However, the bandmates felt like there was a void inside them... In 2007, things got serious: Janito started his study on the drums, Ze begun singing like he meant to and Pecego developed even further his skills on the guitar and musical theory. Very soon, they decided that there was a key element missing, besides the band's name, of course. In Henrique, they found the bassist-to-be - despite the fact of being an inexperient player, he quickly became interested in the band's business. The Rape Assault had been born! Time flew by, with many covers, small gigs and rehearsals, along with epic adventures.
Later, in 2009, in the midst of one of their most recent adventures - which culminated in carrying a street sign on an isolated road at 2 a.m for about 3 hours - the band decided that they would definitely call themselves Collapse. They quickly concluded that they required a Rythim guitarrist to accompany Pecego's mellodies - and Borges came into the picture, whom with an extraordinary devotion, despite the lack of inicial musical skills, was able to join the band quite naturaly. More recently, in 2010, Zé was fired from his status as the band's vocals, for personal reasons, and so, the band is currently looking for a new vocalist. They count with a significantly large amount of shows and gigs in their recent musical past, and a certain amount of originals composed, which await decent recording and public launch in a future EP More recently, the band composed a whole new bunch of new songs which are currently being track recorded.. Collapse: the group that would come to astonish critics, groupies and the remaining world... or at least that's what they hope.... |
