Formados em 1992 na Califórnia, os Blink-182 são uma das mais reconhecidas formações de pop-punk, tendo lançado até hoje seis álbuns, o últimos dos quais - Neighborhoods - na segunda metade do ano passado. Do grupo fazem parte os membros fundadores Markus Hoppus (baixo, vox) e Tom DeLonge (guitarra, voz), e Travis Barker (carismático baterista que em 1998 entrou para o lugar de Scott Raynor).

Influenciados pelo punk americano popularizado nos anos 80 (Pennywise, NOFX, Descendents, Bad Religion), os Blink-182 são considerados precursores de bandas como os Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Good Charlotte ou Panic! at the Disco.

Iron Maiden "En Vivo!" estará disponível num duplo DVD, em Blu-Ray e ainda num álbum duplo, que será posto à venda no final de Março.
O DVD vai incluir um documentário intitulado "Behind The Beast", onde é revelado tudo o que acontece por trás do palco ao longo da tour.

O baixista da banda Steve Harris revela que o Chile foi o local escolhido para a filmagem do DVD porque sentiram que foi "uma das melhores performances de toda a Tour".

A banda tocou quatro músicas no evento que homenageou o premiado compositor John O'Brien, que foi encontrado morto em Chicago, no seu quarto de hotel.
As escolhidas foram "Slither", "She Builds Quick Machines", "Sucker Train Blues" e uma cover dos Pink Floyd, "Wish You Were Here".

O guitarrista Dave Kushner disse à revista Rolling Stone, não descartar uma reunião com Scott Weiland, que foi despedido da banda em 2008. A banda anda à procura de um substituto desde aí. "Tudo é possivel! Vamos ver o que acontece..." disse Kushner.
